These photos were actually taken last year in October, but I loved them so much that I wanted to repurpose them.
October is my favourite month of the year. I may be biased (because it’s my birthday month!) but I think a lot of people have a general appreciation for Octobers. Maybe that’s because it’s the season where fall really hits and everyone brings out the cozy sweaters, boots, and pumpkin spice lattes. Or maybe it’s because of Halloween and other fun festivities such as pumpkin carving and corn mazes.
My next favourite month is December (I almost wrote Christmas – haha it could almost be called that!). I think it’s a no-brainer why December is another favourite month of mine. Jolly music playing, Christmas lights blinking, and snow falling (unless I’m driving in it) make this month one of joy and excitement.
So November is what I call the in-between month because it’s smack dab in the middle of my two favourite months. Although November does host Remembrance Day (which is one of my favourite holidays) and some birthdays, November is usually when I get antsy. The semester starts to get dry and I have to keep battling the temptation to blare the Christmas tunes (I’ve already lost the battle this year).
So I’m counting down the days till December (can we get a chocolate advent calendar for November please?!).
14 days left to go! (That’s only 2 WEEKS!)
